What can you do each day to live a healthier life?

  1. Walk at least 5 min a day. Or better yet, exercise 20-40 minutes 3-5x a week.
  2. Drink water: Approximately 40% of your weight, in ounces.
  3. Deep breathing. Our body needs oxygen. 5-10 deep breathes per hour.
  4. Meditate: At least 5 minutes a day. Learn what relaxation feels like and go there often. Positive mental attitude.
  5. Diet: Increase organic fruits and vegetables, good fats, protein and complex carbohydrates. Decrease calories, refined sugars, saturated fats, processed foods, dairy and soda.

  • Lifestyle: diet, smoking, drinking, sun exposure, lack of exercise
  • Internal: genetics, infections
  • External: workplace, air pollution, water pollution, chemicals, pesticides, herbicides
